Woman Allegedly Runs Over & Kills Husband After A Fight

An Oklahoma wife, Whitney Gonzales, 23, reportedly ran over her husband, Pete Gonzales, 24, with her car, killing him on the spot after a fight.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said the mum of two reeked of alcohol after the Sunday crash in Chickasha, but investigators are still waiting on blood test results, which could take weeks to come back, News 9 reported.

She was arguing with her husband after visiting her mother’s home. Pete Gonzales decided to walk away from the argument — and Whitney Gonzales jumped in her car to look for him.

When she found him walking along State Highway 9 around 4 a.m., she slammed into him, troopers said. Pete Gonzalez died at the scene.

Whitney Gonzales hasn’t been charged, frustrating her husband’s family.

“We’re really upset. We don’t understand why she hasn’t been arrested,” his sister Jessica Gonzales said.

She continued: “”He’s our baby brother and she’s supposed to be his wife. How could she do this?”

Whitney Gonzales was given a blood test after the crash, but results could take between three and six weeks, investigators said.

The couple’s two daughters, 2 years old and 7 months old, are living with their grandmother as the highway patrol investigates.
