Couple Realize They Left 3-Year-Old Daughter At Rest Stop After Driving For Over 2 Hours
A French couple reportedly forgot their 3-year-old daughter at a highway rest stop for over two hours and only realized she was not with them in the car after driving 90 miles toward their vacation destination.
According to ABC news, the young girl was discovered by another family, who notified the police that the little girl had been left alone. The 3-year-old then told the police what her family’s car looked like, and that she had seen her father drive away with the rest of the family.
While driving, the couple had reportedly asked their other children, a boy and girl, if everything was okay, yet, no one noticed the toddler was missing. They only realized she wasn’t in the car when they heard a police message on the radio asking them to pick up their daughter.
It is not clear if the couple will face charges.
