Here is a yummy naija inspired recipe for babies and toddlers. It turned out really well and my baby and toddler enjoyed it. Try it out too.
You’ll need
750 g sweet potato (peeled and chopped into tiny pieces)
1 tbsp paprika powder
1/2dl powdered fish
1 medium onion (chopped)
2 garlic cloves (chopped)
3 tbsp palm oil
A pinch of black pepper
2 tomatoes (chopped)
How to prepare
In a cooking pan, fry onion and garlic until soft in palm oil on a medium heat.
Stir in the tomatoes, paprika, pepper and fish. Add 2 dl water and cover to simmer for 5 minutes or until tomatoes are soft. Stir in the potatoes and add extra 3 dl water. Cover to cook on a medium heat until potatoes are very soft and mashy. Serve lukewarm.
