EFCC Orders Investigation into Case of Pregnant Woman Allegedly Impregnated & Assaulted by Its Operative
EFCC Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Magu, has reportedly ordered investigation into the case of seven-month pregnant Blessing Nwokpa (read here) who was allegedly impregnated and battered by one of its operatives in Lagos following her refusal to abort.
According to Vanguard, authorities of the commission have mandated the EFCC operative to pay N10,000 monthly to his pregnant girlfriend as part of her upkeep.

It was also gathered that the commission would be meeting with the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, currently handling Nwokpa’s case, in a bid to resolve the differences between the estranged pair.
A source also revealed that Nwokpa was never an EFCC staff as she claimed: “Investigation reveals that she sells recharge cards opposite our office and is a single mother of two. That is, however, not justification for whatever wrong was allegedly done her. We are well disciplined and also have respect for the Rule of Law and for women.”
That’s the proper thing to do, if he’s found guilty, let him pay.
