8-Month-Old Pregnant Woman Beats Another to Coma in Edo
An 8-month-old pregnant woman identified as Joy Ikhuenbor, 34, was on Wednesday arraigned before an Egor Magistrate Court in Edo state for allegedly beating another pregnant woman, Gift Nkechi, to coma.
The cause of their ugly fight is unknown.
Nkechi consequently had an emergency caesarean session to save her life and baby’s.
Joy was arraigned on a two count charge of beating with fist and causing bodily harm and she pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, William Aziegbemhin, adjourned the case after granting the accused bail in the sum of N50,000.
