”Only Three Of These Girls Pictured Go To School In Kebbi” Aisha Augie-Kuta Reveals

Nigerian Photographer, and SSA New Media to Kebbi state, Aisha Augie-Kuta posted this photos she took with female children from the Northern part of Nigeria.
The super-mama of three boys while sharing the photos revealed that only three (3) out the children in the photos attend school.
She wrote, “The future! Only 3 of them go to school, we must work together to uplift the girl child. They create brooms on farms.”
According to a recent report by UNICEF, about 10 million children are currently out of school in the Northern part of Nigeria and majority of these out-of-school children are girls who resides in rural areas.
A UNICEF official in Katsina State, Mr Shehu Mohammed, identified Poverty, Socio-Cultural and Economic Environment as reason for poor enrolment of children in schools.
