Watch Emotional Moment When Twins Separated at Birth Meet for the First Time After 10 Years

Twins born in China were separated at birth and given up for adoption to different families. The pair who had no idea they were twins met for the first time after 10 years.

Identical 10-year-old twins Audrey Doering, from Wisconsin and Gracie Rainsberry, were overcome with emotions as they reunited on Good Morning America.

Audrey, who has three brothers, asked her mum for a sister during Christmas and as faith would have it, her mum discovered she had a twin. When she disclosed the news to her daughter, Audrey said:

“I thought my parents were, like, playing a joke on me, it felt like there was somebody missing. Now, it’s complete”

Gracie said:

“I was, like … started to cry a lot, and my mom kept on asking me … what my crying was for, and I was saying, I don’t know, I didn’t know what to think.”

The twins have since discovered they have a lot in common, suffering from the same heart condition and sharing the affinity for certain foods.

“We both love chicken Alfredo. That’s like one of our favorite foods and we both love mac ‘n’ cheese, Gracie said.”
