Outrage as 92-Year-Old Wealthy Businessman Weds 29-Year-Old Lady

Charity Mumba, 29, originally from Zambia, has come under fire for marrying her 92-year-old South African boo, Peter Grooves, who she is refers to as the love of her life.

Grooves, has been described as a ‘very wealthy man’ after making his fortune in stocks and shares but his total net worth is not clear, Dailymail gathered.

The new Mrs Grooves moved to South Africa in search of a new life which she found with her husband, Peter.

It was also gathered that the controversial wedding comes following a reported trend of young Zambian women moving to South Africa in search of wealthy, elderly partners.

Mumba was greatly criticised for marrying the wealthy businessman who is 63 years older after their wedding picture was shared on social media.

Commenting on the wedding photos online, a Facebook user, Mtokolo Limpo said: ”Zambian women are a disgrace, you come all the way to dine with an old man. What special attention are you going to give him apart from sucking up his money?”

While Longlu Vlami added: ”It is sad that women nowadays don’t know how to work hard but just find a life with a finished old man, very soon he is dying and she will inherit his riches.”

And Mercy Nhlovu added: ”That girl must be taken back to Zambia. Rubbish!”

But not everybody was against their union as Tulani Zulu‘ commented: ”Nice couple, I see nothing wrong if they love each other.”

Zinny_empire wrote: ”You people leave her to enjoy her marriage in peace.”

Enayiotseme added: ”Very astute business mind! Happy married life…!!”

While Zambia is one of the poorest countries in southern Africa with 68 percent of people living below the poverty line, South Africa, is comparatively richer with 20 percent of people living in poverty.
