57 Year Old Man who Raped 7 Month Old Step Daughter Makes Shocking Confession
Magaji Dansale, a 57-year-old man that raped his seven month old step daughter, has finally opened up about why he committed the evil act, describing it as “regrettable and an act of the devil”.
Dansale, according to Punch, revealed that he violated the innocent girl because of his desperation to become rich in life.
Dansale, a petty trader and father of six, told newsmen at the police headquarters in Katsina where he and some other suspects were paraded, that he had several dreams in which he became rich once he had sexual intercourse with a toddler.
“I had sexual intercourse with the baby girl because I saw it in several dreams I had that it was the way for me to become successful in life. I dreamt that all my suffering in life would end. This is why I did it.
I truly believed that if I had sexual intercourse with her, all my predicaments would vanish. I would not have to run around to make ends meet anymore.”
Speaking further, he said he married the mother of the tot following the death of his first wife who had six children for him.
When asked whether he was remorseful for his action, Dansale, however, kept mum.
Usman Abdullahi, Commissioner of Police in the state said Dansale would be charged to court soon.
“We suspect that the woman was drugged, for how come with probably all the screaming of the baby the mother couldn’t wake up? I assure you, we will charge him to court to get the case to its logical conclusion,” he said as he appealed to residents to collectively help check such increasing societal ills.
“It is worrisome for Katsina, the rise in rape cases is alarming. Last year alone, over 110 cases of rape were handled,” he added.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Nuhu, the victim’s biological father, said at the hospital in Katsina on Thursday that he had separated from the victim’s mother before she married Dansale, adding that the incident occurred at Dangaski village in the Musawa Local Government Area of the state.
In addition, Ibrahim, said sometime last week, the baby’s mother approached him, complaining that the baby had pile which made her to bleed heavily through her vagina.
He said he then took the child to the General Hospital, in Malumfashi where the doctors there insisted that the police must be involved as it was a rape case which had severely injured her and not piles as claimed by the mother.
“All I want now is to save the life of my daughter and for justice to take its course to serve as deterrent to others,” he said.
The baby was consequently referred to the Turai Umar Yar’Adua Maternity and Children Hospital, Katsina, for further treatment while the police were called in.
The victim’s mother, 25-year-old Zinnai Muntari, told journalists on Thursday, that sometime last week, she woke up from an unusually long sleep to find traces of blood and liquid in the baby’s private parts.
In her words, she assumed that the baby had piles. She added that the following day she made the observation, the suspect gave her some clothes to wash, among which was a trousers stained with blood and semen.
The victim is still on admission at the Turai Umar Yar’Aadua Maternity and Children Hospital, Katsina, where she is receiving treatment.
Dansale was subsequently arrested in connection with the incident.
