”Even rats makes babies… a mother is far different from ‘wife’ – Is Nollywood Actor Emeka Ike Throwing Shade at his Ex-wife?

Despite all the controversy regarding his very public divorce from former spouse of 15 years, Emma, veteran Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike, seems to have put all his troubles behind him.

50-year-old Emeka posted the photo of his four adorable children on his Instagram page and wrote:

”They give me reason to smile. My everyday crush, love you all.”

As expected, in the comment section, his followers started responding and one wrote,

”Appreciate your wife everyday for giving you these cuties!”

In reaction to the fan who told him to appreciate his ex-wife, Emeka wrote:

”Only GOD gives children, no human can… I gave, she received n delivered. Even “rats” makes babes … a mother is farrrrr different from “wife”. May GOD help our today wives to understand “motherhood””

You may recall that for two years, Emma had been back and forth with court authorities, praying that her 17-year marriage to Emeka should be dissolved,  for reasons including  incessant beating, molestation, and torture, which she said she could no longer endure.

But Emeka denied beating, molesting or torturing his wife. He urged the court not to dissolve the marriage as he still loved his wife and wanted her back (read here).

He also informed the court that his wife had moved out of their matrimonial home five times without any reason. He also told the court that the only time ‘devil’ entered their marriage, was when his wife paid for the children’s school fees.

Unfortunately, their union, which produced four children, was dissolved on March 2, 2017 by the Lagos Island Customary Court (read here).
