”My Super Hero” – TV Personality Emma Ugolee Celebrates his Sister who Donated One of her Kidneys to Save Him
Nigerian TV personality, Emma Ugolee, took to his Instagram page to hail his sister, Shirley, who donated one of her kidneys to save his life. He described her as a selfless woman and his superhero. He shared a photo of them as kids and wrote:
”In the year 1983 she had no idea that in 2012 she was going to risk her life to safe her brothers by giving up a kidney.
The amazing story of the most selfless human I know. My sister Shirley. I love you mama. My angel. Super hero. Meanwhile I don forget who tell me say I too cross leg. Shey you see now say to blow guy dey my dna. I dey blow guy sleep sef. Dey there.”
According to sources, Ugolee, producer and anchor of TV show on HipTv, ‘The Gist’, had been living with kidney disease for the past five years and last year, it became worse.
In January this year, legendary comedian, Ali Baba and music star, 2Baba took to their Instagram pages to reveal details of the media guru’s recent battle with the disease.
According to them, Ugolee needs to undergo kidney transplant again and needed financial support from the public. The money was donated by kind-hearted Nigerians and the transplant was done successfully.
