“It’s All about Effort”: Emotional Video of Mum’s Surprise Gift to Daughter Who Aced Her WAEC Exams

“It’s all about effort”, no truer words have been said. Aisha Yesufu made all of us tear up as she surprised her daughter with a gift for acing her WAEC Examinations.

In the video she reminded her daughter of the conversation they had about her getting 8 distinctions in her WAEC. The daughter was not interested in having the conversation because she said it was too early to talk about it. She told her mother that Maths was a difficult subject and she was not getting a distinction in it.

The loving mother told her daughter that Maths was difficult for everyone, and that she was proud of her and then presented her with an iphone.

She wrote alongside the video;

”I have always told my children that effort is what counts most for me. I surprised my daughter with the gift she wanted if she GOT 8 A*s”
