TV Personality Whitney Port Opens Up About Her Breastfeeding Struggles | WATCH
What would you say if someone asked you what the hardest part of motherhood has been?
In a candid Instagram post, Reality star and fashion designer Whitney Port opens up about the challenges of breastfeeding her 2-month-old son and all the emotions that come with them.
In the video, the new mum’s eyes are blood-shot, tears stream down her face, and all at once.

“I’m not obsessed with breastfeeding. There. I said it,” the 32-year-old Hills alum admits.
“Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the fact that my baby is getting all the amazing nutrients from my milk and that I am literally giving him life, but it has been quite the challenge.

A challenge I didn’t feel prepared for at all. In this Chapter of I Love My Baby But… I discuss my trying journey through breastfeeding. I have gained so much confidence just through the support you guys have given me, so if any of this rings true or you have any tips, I am all ears. We mothers have to be there for each other.
I sincerely believe this community is what has given me the confidence to feel I am not doing anything wrong. Yes, there are times the opinions and judgements of other seep in, but then I remember I have you guys and it makes all the difference.

In a YouTube video, Whitney shares more of her struggles in a clip titled, “I love by baby, but…I haven’t loved breastfeeding that much.”

In the 8-minutes video, Whitney says that she fully intended to breastfeed, despite hearing that “it doesn’t come easily to a lot of people.”
She also says it started off great; at least, that’s what she thought. But within the first 24 hours, the pain felt like “someone was slicing my nipples with glass.”

The former reality star and husband Tim Rosenman welcomed their firstborn, Sonny Sanford Rosenman on July 27.
