President Trump Welcomes 9th Grandchild from Eric and Lara Trump

Eric Trump, the 33-year-old son of President of America, Donald Trump, and his wife Lara, 34, have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Eric Luke Jr., after his father.

New father Eric took to Twitter less than four hours after the arrival of his son, who was born at 8.50am on Tuesday morning, to share the happy news.

Alongside the exciting news, the new father also shared a sweet picture of his son with the world.

In the picture, the tiny newborn appears to be sleeping soundly in his mother’s arms, with just her hospital gown visible in the background.

”@LaraLeaTrump and I are excited to announce the birth of our son, Eric “Luke” Trump at 8:50 this morning,” he wrote.

The happy dad then shared a second picture of his child on Instagram, this time a black-and-white photo which captures himself cradling baby Eric Jr. and dropping a sweet kiss on his forehead.

Eric’s mother Ivana was happily in town for the arrival of her grandchild, having attended Dennis Basso’s New York Fashion Week show on Monday, sources claim.

The newest addition to the Trump family is the President’s ninth grandchild, joining the five children of Donald Trump Jr. and his wife Vanessa, as well as Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner’s three kids.

Trump congratulated his son on Twitter, saying: “Congratulations to Eric & Lara on the birth of their son, Eric ‘Luke’ Trump this morning!”

”I can’t wait to meet you” Eric’s older sister, Ivanka, also congratulated the new father on Twitter.

Eric’s brother Trump Jr. shared a more humorous message on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Donald’s wife Melania is yet to comment on the newest addition to their family on social media.

Just last week, Lara was seen hitting the gym while 39 weeks pregnant, in the hope of inducing pregnancy. She took to Instagram last Tuesday to share a video of herself using weights to do a series of overhead tricep extensions and lunges.

”Hoping the workout inspires this baby to make an appearance!” she captioned, thanking her trainer for his help.
