OMG! Young Boy Set Ablaze in Enugu over This Flimsy Reason
It might be the 21st century, but some cities in Africa still practice some barbaric acts of centuries long past. Jungle justice is one of such practices. It is a practice that must be wiped out as children are now victims.
In a recent case of jungle justice, a young boy identified as Junior Onah was burnt to death in Enugu for allegedly leaving a barber shop where a phone had gone missing.
Guardian reports that Onah’s friend Wisdom Kelechi had poured petrol on him and then set him ablaze.

From the report, Onah’s offence was that he left the shop where a mobile phone had been placed in his care to charge and on returning to the shop, Kelechi could not find the phone.
Livid at the loss of the phone, he went out and returned with a gallon of fuel, which he doused on his friend and set him on fire.

The case was reported to the police in Enugu, who sprung into action and arrested Kelechi.
Confirming the incident, Ebere Amaraizu, Enugu police PPRO said:
”The suspect has been promptly arrested by police operatives and he is helping in the investigation just as the victim was rescued with severe burns and taken to the hospital, where he is receiving treatment,” Amaraizu explained.
