Nigerian Wrestling Champion Power Uti Nabbed Over Wife’s Death in Lagos
The Lagos state police command have reportedly arrested Nigerian wrestling champion, Power Uti, over the controversial death of his wife, Toyin.
Toyin, a mother of four children who are under the ages of nine, died in their Ilupeju, Lagos home on Monday morning.
Punch gathered that the body of the deceased was first discovered by her husband, who, instead of taking her to the hospital, went to a church to seek spiritual help.
Police Public Relations Officer, Famous Cole, confirmed the incident.
He said that Power Uti was arrested over the incident and detained at the Ilupeju Police station, adding that he would be transferred to the Criminal Investigative Department, Panti in Lagos on Thursday.

The deceased, 38, was unemployed and had been married to the wrestler for 10 years until her demise.
Her body has been deposited at the Isolo general hospital, while her four children have been placed under the care of her mother. It was learnt that the death has caused great shock in the area.
