Dear MIMsters: Has My Guy Developed Cold Feet Towards Our Wedding?
Has my guy developed cold feet towards our wedding or should I just believe what he tells me?
I have been in a relationship with this guy for 3 years now. We plan to get married this December but the problem is that up till now, no concrete preparation has been made towards our wedding.
He has not even paid to book the hall, not to talk of printing of invitation cards. Anytime I ask him when are we going to do this or that in preparation for the wedding, he keeps telling me not to worry that he is going to do it.
It’s not like he doesn’t have the money because I know he has a good job. What I don’t know is if he has grown a cold feet towards it, cause I’m really scared. I tried to talk to him two days ago about his plans towards the wedding, only for him to tell me that we have to postpone the wedding. His reason is because his leave application was denied by his office. The sad thing is that we have already started selling asoebi and the date has already been fixed.
Members of my church and a good number of people are already aware of the wedding. I am really confused on what to do now and how to tell my parents about this..
Let him call your parents and tell them himself that he is postponing. Don’t get yourself worked up about it.
The last time I checked, if one is getting married the organisation where he works gives him time to do that even if it’s just few days. Sit him down and have a serious talk with him cos this is tricky, how can he be using leave to lie?
