It’s Official! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Wedding Date Announced
Prince Harry and his fiance Meghan Markle will tie the nuptial knots at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle next year, Kensington Palace has announced.
The wedding will take place in the grounds of Windsor Castle in May because it is a place ‘close to the couple’s hearts’, it was revealed today.
The couple chose the ‘very special’ venue because the prince and his fiancee spent time there together during their 16-month romance and Harry was based in the town with his Army regiment, the Blues and Royals.

“It will be a moment of fun and joy that will reflect the character of the bride and groom,” said their spokesman.
The royal family would pay for the wedding, including the church service, the music, the flowers and the reception. Wider security costs, policing and public order arrangements will be covered by the public purse, however.READ ALSO: Meghan Markle Finally Speaks About Prince Harry Relationship: “We’re in love”
St George’s Chapel usually holds about 800 guests compared with the 2,000 capacity of Westminster Abbey, where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge got married in 2011.
They have not given the date for their ‘fun and joyful’ wedding, which is likely to be televised but thanked the millions of people around the world ‘celebrating with them’ since their engagement was announced yesterday.
Am seriously waiting for the live broadcast of this wedding, I will be watching.
Nice one.
