UNVEILED! Why Usher & Estranged Wife Grace Miguel Reportedly End Their Marriage
Following reports of an official joint statement of Usher Raymond 39, and his wife Grace Miguel, 48, are ending their two-year marriage after nearly 10 years together, a new report has emerged on why the former couple separated.
While the pair haven’t mentioned a thing about divorce, they confirmed their separation yesterday saying;
“After much thought and consideration, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives.
The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”
The Jasmine Brand now reports that the pair have been in a “negative place” for some time, with a source telling the site, “they’ve been fighting non-stop over the past year.”
According to the latest report, the couple ultimately split due to Miguel’s desire to have a child, a request the “Nice & Slow” singer allegedly wasn’t willing to fulfill.
”Grace REALLY wanted to have kids and Usher wasn’t necessarily open to the idea,” claims the source.
Miguel reportedly wanted to have a surrogate carry their child while the former The Voice judge was only willing to adopt, with the source sharing, “He was the deciding factor of them not having a kid together.”
Usher and Grace began dating in 2009 after Usher split from his first wife, Tameka Foster. Usher shares 10-year-old son Usher Raymond V and 9-year-old son Naviyd Ely with Tameka.

Accusations of the singer passing sexually-transmitted disease, herpes, to several women last year also put a strain on the relationship, according to the report.
“The headlines and accusations were brutal. And it was really tough on them. They were fighting about it non-stop.”
Another report by Media TakeOut, has it that the US singer left his wife for a reality TV star, Amara La Negra, a Miami-born Dominican singer and Love and hip hop Maimi star.
According to a source close to them,
”Usher met Amara while she’s out here (in Los Angeles) filming The Real. I think they fell in love – it was quick. Next thing you know Usher is announcing that he’s leaving his wife.”

The source further said, ”I wouldn’t be surprised if Usher ends up (marrying) Amara. Cause he’s known to move fast with relationships”.
It is not known if Miguel would continue as his manager, a position she has held for years.
Their separation comes months after the singer was hit by a $20 million lawsuit in August last year from two women and a man who claimed he had put them at risk of the STD, herpes.

The singer responded via his lawyers claiming he didn’t have sexual contact with them nor did he give them the disease.
When the news broke out, Grace reacted to the herpes accusation back in November, stating that she and her husband are “living their lives.”Describing Grace before now, Usher said,
”I have an incredible partner and manager. She has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and my career”.
