Veteran Actors, Joke Silva & Olu Jacobs Celebrate 33-Years Of Being Married, Shares Family Photo
Veteran actors, Olu Jacobs, 76, and Joke Silva, 57, celebrate 33-years of marriage on November 16, 2018.
The couple who are amongst the most respected in the entertainment industry got married in 1985. Their enduring love story has been a positive reference point for many people- old and young- all over.
According to the man who is fondly called ‘Uncle Olu Jacobs’, he first saw his wife, Joke Silva in 1981 at the National theatre during a rehearsal for Wole Soyinka’s ‘Jero’s Metamorphosis’ and he knew from that first meeting that they were meant to be.
The couple, whose first son recently got married are blessed with 2 sons- Olusoji Jacobs and Olugbenga Jacobs.
To celebrate their 33rd wedding anniversary, Joke Silva took to her Instagram page to share a beautiful family photo and also pen down lovely words to her husband calling him the king of her heart.
