Rumoured Death: Actor, Yomi Black Says Leah Sharibu Failed To Do The Smart Thing
Nollywood actor and dad-of-one, Yomi black has sparked controversy over his sensitive comments about the plight of abducted teenager, Leah Sharibu. Leah was abducted alongside 110 other schoolgirls by the dreaded Boko Haram terrorist group in Dapchi town, northeast Nigeria in February 2018.
Following the Federal Government’s negotiations with the terrorist organisation, the abducted girls regained their freedom except for Leah who had defied the terrorists and told them she would not renounce her Christian faith.

While local and international observers have remained keen to see to the freedom of 16-year-old Leah, a new twist occurred last week when a video surfaced of an abducted aid worker making pleas to be rescued from the Boko Haram camp, adding that Leah Sharibu, had been killed and she wanted to avoid the same fate.
Reacting to the claims of her Sharibu’s death, Nollywood actor, Yomi Black, took to his Instagram to say the young girl failed to do the single smartest thing she could have done to save her life. Where are all the people that were cheering her for not renouncing and saving her life?
That was the single smartest thing she could have done to save her life. Her faith (God) abandoned her
and that didn’t surprise me.
I really hope the news around her death is Fake.

@wikitare:
This post has changed my perception of you Yomi. Abomination. Haven’t you read? That he who tries to save his life will lose it and he who loses his life for God’s sake will save it. Is she different from any Martyr that lost their lives for Christ. Even Peter died for the sake of spreading Christianity.
@prophodig:
Even the Bible says you should be wise as serpents. Denouncing with your words doesn’t count as much because her heart is still with Jesus. People lashing out against you wouldn’t think twice in advising their own kids to denounce God if they were in the same situation. Typical Nigerian Christians forming assistant Jesus.
@dede.ify:
Your caption and the post are actually dumb. You don’t blame people for standing for what they believe in . Apparently you don’t know what true Christianity is . Peter denied Jesus and got lucky what about Ananias and Sapphira that were not lucky . Abeg some issues are to be left for your audience to discuss.
@nwokeogochukwu:
I pray GOD gives me the same boldness to stand for CHRIST same way she did. What we see now is time. Where she is now is eternity and the that is a long time. Her actions in time determine how her eternity will be. If she is truly dead, trust me she is in a better place. My opinion entirely.
