Abducted Schoolgirl, Leah Sharibu Who Was Coerced Into Marriage Allegedly Welcomes Child By Top Boko Haram Commander
The fate of Dapchi schoolgirl Leah Sharibu is a sad and an extremely worrisome one. Leah, the only schoolgirl remaining in Boko Haram captivity after the Dapchi kidnappings in February 2018 was held back by the terror group for refusing to denounce her Christian faith after the Nigerian government negotiated and paid ransom securing the release of over hundred schoolmates of Leah who turned 16 last year.
Much worse, new reports say Leah became a mother for the first time a few weeks ago. Her child, reports further claim was fathered by a top Boko Haram commander.
According to Sahara Reporters, Leah, allegedly gave birth to a baby boy weeks ago. She was reportedly forced by the terror group to convert to Islam before being married off to a top Boko Haram commander, the publication claims.
