Husband Of Embattled Blue-eyed Mum, Risikat, Speaks Up After Impressive Transformation Of His Estranged Wife & Kids
Wasiu Dada, husband of blue-eyed Ilorin mum, Risikat Azeez, has resurfaced and also denied the allegation that he abandoned his family. Recall that the mum-of-two and her two children Kaosarat and Hassanat were recently sent away by her husband because of her blue eyes that experts have termed occular albinism.
Risikat had claimed she had to return to her parentsā home after her husband maltreated her by always letting her and their daughters go hungry and leaving home for days without notice on when he would return. According to her narration, her poor state of health and lean state worried her parents and they packed her things after he abandoned her and their daughters for having blue eyes.
āWhen she had their first daughter, he didnāt involve himself in her upkeep at allā¦we we were the ones that were responsible for everything. ā¦..
and after she had their other children, a set of twins, boy and girl, he abandoned them still and showed he wasnāt interested especially after one of the twins diedā¦..
we had to go and pick our daughter when she was growing thin and being maltreatedā
Risikatās mother confirmed in a chat with PUNCH.
Debunking the claims however, Wasiu Dada revealed that he fell in love with Risikat because of her eyes and that he never regrets having daughters with blue eyes. He claimed he left her because of her waywardness and lack of contentment.
Meanwhile, Risikat has insisted during her interview with Punch that she would on no account consider returning to Wasiu.
No, it is no longer possible, I wonāt go back. Iām not ready to marry him again. It is too late.
I will remarry. Iām just 30 years and I have two kids. Iām too young to live alone.
Definitely, I will remarry. I want to have more children.
If I want to remarry, I will look for a man who will take me as I am.
She said.
Risikat has since found favour in the eyes of many well-meaning Nigerians and her life may just be about to experience a turnaround.
