Finally! Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo Breaks Silence On The Tuesday Lekki Massacre
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has finally reacted to the unfortunate incident that happened at the Lekki tollgate on Tuesday, October 20 where peaceful end SARS protesters were fired at by security operatives, leaving many dead and injured.
In a post shared on his social media handles, the VP said his heart goes out to all the victims of the unfortunate incident as well as the policemen and others who have lost their lives in the past few days in Lagos and other parts of the nation.
His post reads:
”My heart goes out to all the victims of the Lekki shootings, and also the policemen and all other men and women who lost their lives in the past few days in different parts of Lagos & other states.

I spoke to some of those in hospital. The pain of these terrible events is palpable in our towns and cities, and some losses are irreplaceable, but we can and will get justice for all of them. I stand with Lagos & all other affected states in these trying times.
We pray we will never see a repeat of these tragedies in Jesus name. God bless you all.

It is so unfortunate that till now, the president is yet to address the nation, why army were sent to the peaceful protests killing about 78 protesters according to unconfirmed online sources and so many more issues.
