Nigerians Shocked As Super TV Boss’s Alleged Murderer, Chidinma Ojukwu Is Crowned Miss Cell 2022
Chidinma Ojukwu, the alleged killer of Super TV CEO, Usifo Michael Ataga has been crowned Miss Cell 2022.
The suspect won the beauty pageant held at Kirikiri correctional facility to mark the 2022 International Women’s Day.
Recall that 21-year-old Chidinma was thrown into the limelight for the murder of the married Chief Executive Officer, Super TV in June 2021.
Chidinma who is awaiting trial for the murder and has been remanded in prison since last year, contested for the Miss Cell beauty pageant held within Kirikiri correctional facility to mark the 2022 International Women’s Day.
The female inmates were given an opportunity to fulfill their dreams despite being imprisoned. They had the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills at the competition.
Chidinma came out victorious as she beat other inmates to emerge as the winner.

During interrogation last year, according to a preliminary police report, the UNILAG student booked the short-let apartment in Lekki where the incident happened using a fake name, Jewel.
The report also indicated that several calls placed to a phone number with which Chidinma booked didn’t go through after Ataga’s body was discovered in the room on Wednesday, June 16.
The incident was said to have been reported to the police by the operator of the facility, Mrs Nkechi Mogbo.
The report in part reads:
“Mogbo reported that around 3pm of June 16, 2021, she received a call from her security guard on Adebowale Oshin Street, Lekki Phase I where she has one flat being used as a short let apartment.
She further stated that the security man informed her that one Jewel with a foreign phone number who rented the apartment invited one Usifo Ataga to the apartment yesterday (June 15) and that about 1pm of June 16 when the cleaner wanted to clean the room, he discovered that the door had been broken.
When she (the cleaner) peeped into the room, she discovered that the said Ataga was lying in a pool of blood. All calls put across to the said Jewel to come back to the apartment proved abortive.”
Chidinma Ojukwu also claimed that the late CEO was having a marital crisis and only stayed in his marriage because of his kids.
The 21-year-old in an interview with Crime Fighters revealed that Ataga was having issues with his wife and was not in a happy marriage, as it was more of catering for his kids.
“He was actually a busy person but at a point, I found out that he lies a lot just to be able to have sex with young girls.
“He wasn’t having a good marriage either because I noticed he had issues with his wife. They had a marital crisis and he was there only for the kids,”
she said.
