Comedian Bovi’s Wife, Kris Asimonye Reveals One Of The Greatest Gifts Her Husband Gave Her And It’s Worth Mentioning!
Culturally, in most parts of the world, it is normal for a woman to drop her father’s name and take on her husband’s name as her surname and their children would follow suit.
In some cases, the compound name is adopted, where the woman keeps her father’s name but adds her husband name, separated with an hyphen.
In rare cases, the man asks his wife to keep her maiden name after they get married and also gives her the free hand to make a name for herself, become a woman of her own and pursue her dream and visions.
Such is the case for comedian, Bovi Ugboma and his wife, fashion designer, Kris Asimonye. In a post shared on Instagram, the wife of the stand-up comedian revealed how her husband discouraged her from limiting herself because she’s married to him.
The businesswoman and mother of three shared a video of her vision board which she crafted in 2017 and revealed that one of the greatest gifts her husband gave her was supporting her to become a woman of her own.
She said he even discouraged her from dropping her maiden name. Now, 5 years after, she said everything on her vision board has manifested.
