Bishop Febi Idahosa Uplifts Others Through His Story: ‘We Lost Our First Son In His 12th Hour Of Life, After 5 Years Of Trying’
Nigerian Pastor and Bishop of Church of God Mission International Headquarters, Bishop Febi Idahosa has recounted how he lost his first son while giving a sermon of hope to his Instagram followers on January 20, 2022.
In his uplifting message, the clergyman who is happily married to pastor Laurie Idahosa admonished his followers not to despair when faced with challenges as God will make them smile again.
According to the super dad of three, when he and his wife lost their first son, the enemy tried to control them with fear and doubt because they had the deceased after 5 years of waiting.
Encouraging families going through their challenging periods to hold onto God, Feb noted that God gave his family three handsome boys for their loss.

“The fear of “what if?” — When we lost our first son in his 12th hour of life, after 5 years of trying…the enemy tried to control us with fear and doubt.
What if that was our last chance?
What if we could not have another child?
What if God didn’t answer this time?
That last question is really the heart of the matter. The devil wants you to think God won’t answer YOU. “What if you pray and there’s no answer” he whispers.
You might be in a place where you’re worried by the question of “what if?” The question is not, “God, will you protect me or answer me?” but rather Jesus’s question to us, “Why are you afraid?” (Matthew 8:26). Here’s the answer. God always hears. He will give you the best answer that fits your future.
For us, He answered and gave us the 3 boys pictured here. He will give you an answer. But more importantly, He will remove your fear. You will smile again.!”
