Alleged Marital Crisis: Lagos Socialite, Farida Sobowale Almost Ends It All At Third Mainland Bridge
Popular Lagos socialite, Farida Sobowale was rescued on Thursday, August 17 in the evening after attempting to commit suicide on the Third Mainland Bridge.
Videos shared online show the moment she was being held by people who rescued her from jumping into the Lagoon.
The socialite, who was in a black dress, reportedly drove her Lexus SUV to the Third Mainland Bridge, disembarked and was about to jump into the Lagoon when she was rescued by those around.
The videos showed Sobowale sobbing uncontrollably while being comforted by those who saved her.
Sobowale is a well-known businesswoman in Lagos’ beauty industry. The skin vendor owns House of Phreedah skincare in Surulere, Lagos.
Sobowale trended on social media about two months ago when she had a lavish wedding ceremony with husband, Demola, in Lagos.
There are rumours that their marriage has hit the rock which has reportedly affected her mental health.
Demola reportedly packed out of their marital home and returned to an alleged side chick he was dating before their marriage.
He reportedly rained insults on her before packing out, claiming she looks like an 80-years old woman, which explained why she couldn’t service him well on bed.
