Woman Narrates Heartwarming Story Of How Her Ex-husband Paid Her For Being A ‘Super Mom’
Nigerian woman based in the United States, Abisola Olaleye has recounted a heartwarming story of her ex-husband’s gratitude towards her for being a ‘super mom’, underscoring their unwavering commitment to prioritizing their children’s well-being even in the aftermath of their divorce.
Abisola recently saw her eldest child off to college, marking a significant milestone in their lives. What made the moment even more touching was her ex-husband’s unexpected act of generosity.
Despite the terms of their divorce settlement requiring both parents to contribute a percentage of the college expenses, the ex-husband went above and beyond by sending a check to cover the entire amount.
“I got a check from their dad today paying the whole amount in full,” Abisola revealed.
She went on to express her gratitude for his gesture, sharing that her ex-husband remarked that it was the least he could do for a “super mom” who had played an instrumental role in strengthening his bond with their sons.
She shared a photo of them and wrote:
“We moved our first “baby” into college today. The divorce settlement agreement requires me to pay a percentage of college expenses, but I got a check from their dad today paying the whole amount in full.
“He said that’s the least he could do for a “super mom” (his words, not mine,) who has helped to strengthen his bond with his sons. He didn’t have to, but he did; and for that, I’m grateful. “Kid-centered” co-parenting is possible, in spite of.”
