‘There Are Moments I Don’t Like My Wife’ – Actor, Akah Nnani Spills As He Discusses Marriage, Faith And Personal Growth

Nollywood star, Akah Nnani has spilled about his relationship with his wife, Chidera Nnani.

Akah did not hold back as he honestly talks about his growth, marriage, and love for God in a candid discussion with show host, Toke Makinwa.

The conversation also explores some unexpected territory, revealing Akah’s initial perception of Toke before they met. This honest exchange emphasises the importance of personal evolution and shifting perspectives.

During the sit and talk on the Toke Moments show, the dad of one disclosed what has been sustaining his marriage.

According to Akah, what has been sustaining his marriage is love and not likes. He then wet on to speak about the moments when he doesn’t love his wife or the times when the feelings are mutual, but it is the love that keeps them together.

The actor noted that love is complicated, and one has to love one’s partner’s demons to show genuine love. He said in part:

“People marry for the wrong reasons every time. I will say love because there are moments and certain period of time I don’t like my wife, it has happened, and there are period when she does not like me because it is the love that keeps us.

Love is complicated, you have to love somebody’s demons. That is why it is love.”

Nnani, while speaking on his initial dislike for his host, Toke Makinwa, said he was the type who judged her but started coming to terms when he realized that she was loved everywhere.
