Woman Whose Marriage Ended On Their Wedding Day Reveals Incident At The Reception That Led To The Break Up
A woman has shared the action by her husband at their wedding reception that caused them to never legally file the marriage.
She shared the story of how her marriage ended on their wedding day while reacting to a viral video of a bride who looked unsure how to react after her groom smashed her head suddenly into their cake at their wedding reception, messing her hair up.
Afterwards, as the bride struggled with what had just happened, the groom opened both hands for a high handshake.
A woman, Anise@AniseNot who had a similar experience took to X to share her story.
She wrote:
“I posted about this before but I got married when I was 18 & we had a cute Sunday morning wedding with coffee & pastries & cake at a historic Hollywood hotel with about 100 guests.
“When it came time to cut the cake he grabbed the back of my head & smeared cake all over my entire face & hair while stepping on the front of my dress & pulling it down exposing my bra.
“It was so humiliating I couldn’t stop myself from crying.
“My previous boyfriend’s mother was in attendance bc we were good friends & she took me to the bathroom to help me clean up.
“We never legally filed the marriage & split up within a few months after. I should’ve left him immediately.”
