Recently Released Chibok Girls Reunite With their Parents | See Emotional Photos
Joe Mutah, the Chief Press Secretary of the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, disclosed in a statement that the recently released Chibok girls were united with their families yesterday in Abuja. News sources state that the girls, a total number of 82, alongside 24 other girls who were initially rescued last year, joined their respective parents in an emotional reunion.
Minister for Women’s Affairs, Hajiya Jummai Alhassan, revealed that the girls who were released earlier were being re-rehabilitated and taught five subjects to enable them enroll back into school for the next academic session. As for the 82 recently released, they are said to be undergoing intensive medical check up and would soon be enrolled into a remedial programme. See all the emotional photos from the re-union below:
