BREAKING: Uniport Student Who Raped & Killed Girl, Escape from Police Custody 

Suspected ritual killer, Ifeanyi Dike, who raped and killed 8-year-old Victory Chikamso, has escaped from police custody in Port Harcourt.

Punch reports that Dike, who was caught by a local vigilante in Eliozu axis of Port Harcourt while trying to dispose off the mutilated body of the victim, and handed over to the police, escaped last night.

Sources say police have begun manhunt for the fleeing suspect.

Recall that Dike was arrested by the operatives of the Rivers State Police Command attached to Okporo Police Station for raping, killing and removing some vital parts of the victim after kidnapping her on Friday.

It will also be recalled that one of the fingers of the deceased, her tongue, eyes, one of her breasts and vagina were cut off by Dike before he was apprehended.

Nmezuwuba, the girl’s father disclosed that Chikamso had requested bread for breakfast, which he bought for her before he left for work on Friday (the day she was abducted).

Narrating further, he said when he returned home around 3pm and learnt that his daughter was missing, he immediately began a search, adding that after the search became fruitless, he decided to report the matter to the police.

The bereaved father also said that he could not control himself when he saw the lifeless body of his daughter with her finger, private part, and eyes removed.
