14-Year-Old Girl Arrested After Facebook Video Shows Toddler Performing Sex Act On Her
Authorities in Orangeburg County in central South Carolina have arrested a 14-year-old girl after a video of a toddler performing a sex act on her surfaced on Facebook.
The teenager, whose name hasn’t been released, told officials with the county sheriff’s department that she filmed the video after coming home drunk from a party and then sent it to her ex-boyfriend, WLTX-TV reported.
Authorities placed the teenager, who is accused of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, in a state juvenile detention facility on Friday, and the state Department of Social Services has taken two other children who live with the teenager into custody, according to the TV station.
A local resident first tipped the sheriff’s department off on the lewd video, a South Carolina newspaper called The State reported.
“This is a devastating case where an innocent child is being abused and taken advantage of by someone whom the child should have been able to trust,” said Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell.
