Reno Omokri Causes Quite A Stir Online After His Advice To Men On What The Ideal Type Of Marriage Is
Author and social commentator, Reno Omokri has dished out some controversial advice to men who marry women older than them, telling them how risky it is.
According to the ex-presidential aide, marriage to an older women is not the ideal type of marriage.
Explaining his opinion further, Omokri said the ideal type of marriage is one in which the man is older than the woman and not vice versa, adding that marrying an older woman is very risky.
Omokri then made it clear that God in his infinite wisdom created man first before creating woman and that shows that the perfect or ideal marriage is one in which the man is older than the woman and not vice versa.
Giving an example as to why marrying an older woman is risky, the married dad of three asked whether if the man marrying a woman older can handle or control himself when his older wife’s libido drops since women are not like men who can keep their libido even up to 100years.
He shared his opinion on his Instagram page and it reads;
”Dear men,
Marrying an older woman is risky. A man’s libido can last till he is 100. Will you be able to hold yourself when she ages and her libido drops? These are practical matters. Don’t just marry because of how you feel now. Think of how you will feel 30 years from now!
God gave us the ideal model for marriage. He created Adam and only later created Eve, who Adam then accepted as a wife. That means that in God’s Judgment, the ideal marriage is one where the husband is older than the wife, not vice versa. Not vice versa!”

Mr Reno, I beg to differ on this . Age is just a number and marriage is basically for companionship and reproduction on a foundation of love. How does age affects any of these?
Dear Reno, there is no where in the Bible where it was written that the husband has to be older than the wife.
If God wanted that to be the case, He would have stated it clearly.

Good ‘wisdom of man’ here. Since you used scriptures for backing up your claim, it would have been nice if you used a statement such as I AND NOT THE LORD. One statement apostle Paul used on issues where he gave his own opinion such as this. Especially when there are some couples where the men were led by God to marry older women. Would we say such marriages aren’t ideal as well?
Marriage isn’t just about libido, there is so much more to be enjoyed in marriage than just sex.
