The Federal Government has given indications that the lingering tussle between it and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is not as simple as it appears.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said this while speaking to state house correspondents after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari on June 15.
The minister said that in spite of the complexities, a lot is being done behind the scene to resolve the issues.
Mr. Mohammed argued that the Federal Government is concerned about the protracted issues with the lecturers and will continue to work to find an early resolution to the problem.
