Ooni Of Ife’s Fourth Wife Explains Why She Tags Her Newborn Son The ‘Crown Prince’ As She Thanks The Monarch
Ooni of Ife’s fourth wife, Olori Folashade Ashley, has hinted on why she tags her newborn son the ‘Crown Prince’.
A few days back, the monarch, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and his fourth wife had announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy.
Taking to his official Instagram page, the king expressed gratitude to God for the great things He had done.
Queen Ashley, on her part, noted how, for over a decade, the enemies tried in her relationship with the monarch, but God made them victorious. She revealed that last year was a little dark for them as they lost twins, but God remained faithful.
The new mum had referred to their newborn son as the Crown Prince, and this raised eyebrows on social media.
Some persons felt it was inappropriate considering the fact that the monarch already has two sons before hers, Tadenikawo born by his first estranged wife, Olori Naomi and Oreade, the twin boy born by Olori Tobi Philips.
In an Instagram post, why sharing a video of her cradling her baby bump, she explained why she refers to her son as the ‘’Crown Prince.
She wrote;
“Oba tón gbọ ẹkún aládúrà, ẹsẹ Olódùmarè. Thank you, olodumare, for an amazing pregnancy journey which was very sacred for my husband and me, which was successfully kept away from society space to the glory of Olodumare 🤲🏽.
To my ever-loving, supportive husband who has stood by me throughout this journey, every step of the way, from start to finish, with daily prayers @ooniadimulaife, you are my world, my CROWN JEWEL, Erujeje Adimula Oko Mi, Ikoyi Esho Mi.
