SHOCKING: 13-Year-Old Girl Drives Drunk Parents Home From Nightclub

Two Texas parents who went drinking with their two daughters, 13 and 7, in tow, left the night club so drunk their 13-year-old daughter had to take the wheel.

According to NBCNews, police affidavit stated that when the family left the club at around 11 p.m. (12 p.m. ET), the eldest daughter “observed her parents were too intoxicated to drive as they were leaving the bar and suggested she should drive home because she felt it would be safer for her to drive.”

Police received a call shortly after that a silver Chevrolet pickup truck was running stoplights, driving erratically and going 25-30 mph below the posted speed limit of 70 mph on the highway.

When stopped, the two parents were visibly drunk and stated they also believed they were too intoxicated to drive and thought it was a safer decision to allow their inexperienced 13-year-old daughter to drive the over 30 minute trip home.

Police say the mother called it a “little adventure” for the girl.

Another motorist thought the driver of the Chevy was intoxicated and says he witnessed the truck cause three near collisions.

The parents were arrested and have each been charged with child endangerment, a state-jail felony, according to arrest warrants.

The affidavit also states a partially consumed and cold beer was found under the driver’s seat, suggesting one of the parents was continuing to drink inside the pickup while having their daughter drive home.
