See The Sacrifice This Couple Have To Make To Live Their Dream Life
When this couple selected the house to raise their family in, they realized they couldn’t afford to have more than the two children they already had.
Writing for Elle Decor, wife, Sarah Scott, explained: “We built a luxury dream home but can only afford to have two children.”
Although she admitted that people may have trouble understanding why they made the decision they did, Sarah explained that they have really bought themselves a lifestyle that they love.
Now that they have their dream home, the ride-on lawnmower, the once-a-year holiday and the contentment that comes with a healthy family, Sarah yearns for more children, but it’s a wish they’d rather let go to maintain their current lifestyle.
“We weren’t planning on this change of heart when we purchased our home but we would like to have one more child. My uterus literally aches despite the fact that logic suggests we can’t afford it right now. After talking it over, and trying to adjust the budget, we have come to the conclusion that the decision to buy our dream home last year has eliminated the possibility of having any more children,” she said.
Sarah admits that although both she and her husband would love another child, to do so would mean selling up and downsizing from the amazing life they saved so hard for, which is something that they just aren’t prepared to do.
