50 Proposals And Counting, Single Mum On Tour Looking For Mr Right
A mum and former air hostess Nicci Taylor from Heswall, Merseyside had sold all she has to go on a tour of Scotland hoping to find Mr Right.
The Mirror reports:
Nicci Taylor, 49, decided to go on her love tour after being made redundant.
The single mum has spent most of her life raising son Phil, 27, and nursing sister Pip after a haemorrhage.
Now, after weeks of packing, planning and fundraising trips to car boot sales, Nicci and her Labrador Milo have headed off to the Highlands, and she’s already had 50 marriage proposals and declarations of love over the internet, with lots of Turkish men desperate to declare their undying affection.
She said: “I have had to block a few people on Facebook but everyone has been pretty friendly. “There seems to have been a lot from abroad, particularly from Turkish men, who just seem to pour their hearts out to you.”
The former air hostess moved out of her rented house to raise enough to buy a 1991 Talbot Express Autoquest 320, which she has named ‘The Beast’.
She has since been busy adding a touch of glamour to it, including covering cushions, making new curtains and decorating the inside with fairy lights.
Nicci has a soft spot for the Scottish accent after spending a decade living in Perth, working as an air hostess at Edinburgh Airport, but also adores Italy.
Visit Scotland has given her passes to some of the country’s top attractions and will be helping set her up on some hot dates.
Hope she finds what she’s looking for.
May be when the proposal gets to 100 she will find Mr right.
