How 19-Year-Old Boy Drugged & Defiled 22-Year-Old Man in Nasarawa

A 19-year old boy identified as Jibril Sule has been arrested for allegedly drugging and raping a 22-year-old man, Awalu Zakari, behind City Hall in the Lafia East Development Area of Nasarawa state.

According to Nigerian Tribune, investigations revealed that the incident happened, on Saturday night, after the victim was lured by the suspect with a bottle of plastic Coca-Cola, which unknown to the victim had been drugged.

It was learnt that the victim fell unconscious few minutes after taking the drink and the suspect had carnal knowledge of him through the anus.

One of the victim’s family sources confided that his parents had been looking for him for almost three hours before a passer-by called their attention to where he was lying down, writhing in pains.

According to the source, “He was found unconscious and his father, Zakari, reported the incident to C Division Police station. He was rushed to the hospital for the treatment. After inquiry, it was revealed that one Jibril Sule, 19, had carnal knowledge of the victim around 9 p.m. after the latter was drugged, and the police swung into action by arresting the suspect the following day.”

When contacted on phone on Sunday, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ismaila Numan, confirmed the incident, saying the suspect was currently cooling his heels at C Division Police station, while the case would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) today, Monday, for further investigations.
