Tara the incredibly brave kitty, won hearts across the world when she rescued a four-year-old from a dog attack while out playing in his garden.

Jeremy Triantafilo was getting on his bicycle when a neighbour’s dog launched an attack and grabbed his leg before shaking him vigorously. Fearless Tara jumped at the Labrador scaring it off and saving the little boy from any serious harm. Since then the world’s gone mad for cats. In fact, there are presently, lots of memes of Tara wearing supercat outfits and another hailing “Faith in Cats”

The owners of the dog who mauled a four-year-old have dodged a potentially costly lawsuit, reports say.

Tara the heroic pet cat has become a worldwide sensation after saving Jeremy Triantafilo from the clutches of the out of control mutt.The attack, footage of which has spread like wildfire around the web, could have led to legal action but the family have now confirmed they will not seek further financial payment  from their neighbours other than the $155 they had to pay out. Insurance will cover all the costs of Jeremy’s medical bills mum and dad Erica and Roger told TMZ.

It has already been confirmed that the offending dog will be destroyed.

Meanwhile, the internet has gone wild for Tara’s heroics. He’s also presently receiving offers to appear on the cover of several magazines.
