You Won’t Believe What Son Had Been Scheming to Do to Parents Since He Was 11
17-year-old Cameron Ervin and his 22-year-old brother, Christopher, were arrested for attempting to kill their parents and set their home on fire after their mum dialled 911. Following their arrest, they both admitted to the charges.
Now, one of the brothers, in an even more shocking development, has confessed to investigators that he had been scheming to murder his parents since he was 11 years old.
According to NYDailyNews, their parents, Zachary and Yvonne Ervin, said one of their sons had asked if he could make dinner for the family on Sept. 4, and their mum told police this was quite unusual.
Investigators believe the brothers mixed Xanax into their parents’ cocktails that night and tried to kill them the next morning. Both parents suffered serious injuries, and their dad was hospitalized for six days.
The brothers’ motive for wanting their parents dead is yet to be uncovered. However, reports say the brothers have mentioned a “bad home life” to prosecutors.
Family friends are said to be shocked about the ugly development. One of them, Derrick Butts, told the Journal-Constitution the Ervins had “no issues.”
He added: “If you call a troubled home life having everything you ever wanted, then I’ll take that trouble any day.”
