AMAZING: Reckless Driving Left Toddler Fighting For His Life But Look at Him Now

A 16-month-old toddler, Jaxon Taylor has been released from hospital after surgeons miraculously reattached his head to his severed spine.

According to Mirror, Jaxon had his head torn from his spine internally when a car he was travelling in with his mother and nine-year-old sister collided with another car last month.

The injury sustained from the crash could have left Jaxson paralyzed or dead, but doctors battled for six hours in surgery and were able to reattach the head to the spine and save his life.

Jaxon who has been discharged after less than a month in hospital, wears a neck brace to support his head and body which could be taken off before the end of the year.

Dr Askin, who performed the surgery, said: “A lot of children wouldn’t survive that injury in the first place, and if they did and they were resuscitated then they may never move or breathe again.”

Jaxon’s family have initiated an online petition to ask for stringent punishments for reckless drivers in Australia, which has already received a lot of support from people.
