See Why Single Mum Splashes Over £20k On Hair Extensions & More For 22-Month-Old Daughter
Jas Sullivan, a 23-year-old single mum, spends over £20,000 on designer clothes, hair extensions, makeup and more in the bid to transform her 22-month-old daughter, Minnie-Beau, into a beauty queen.
According to Mirror UK, she styles her daughter in £15,000 worth of designer clothes, hair extensions and full make-up for pageants.
Her daughter took part in her first competition when she was just 18 months old after she saw a TV show about pageants, and she impressed judges with her designer wears, hair and eyelash extensions. Her make-up regime included blusher, eyebrow pencil and coral lipstick and her tiny nails were painted a brilliant white.
She wore sparkly studs in her ears and blew kisses as she danced onstage, before taking the titles of Division Supreme Queen, Best Dressed and Best Personality. She has since competed in three more competitions and is now making a name for herself on the beauty pageant scene, rocking flamboyant fashion items, including £1,000 worth of gold jewellery.
Her mum, who says her own wardrobe suffers so she can afford her daughter’s luxury fashion, admits she has received some backlash. She said:
“Somebody commented on a picture of Minnie-Beau at a pageant and asked why I was dressing my daughter inappropriately and like a prostitute. People have said that I’m sexualising Minnie but that’s their sick thoughts, not mine. This is a controlled environment, a pageant, and in my eyes, it’s not at all sexualising your child – it’s all totally innocent. I don’t care what anyone says I work hard to provide for Minnie and we do what makes us happy. She loves having her makeup applied and her hair done – straightened and curled. We’re not harming anybody so what’s the problem?
It’s just like a dance competition – you get marked on your routines, your outfits and your make up too. I’ve spent probably around the price mark of twenty thousand pounds on Minnie and she’s worth every penny. She is spoilt but she’s not a spoilt brat and she appreciates everything I give to her. She got her pout from copying me and now everyone knows her for it – her personality is amazing…Before I had Minnie you could say I was a bit of a wild child, out all the time drinking with friends and all of my money went on that. Now that I have Minnie every penny I have goes on her and she’s completely changed my life for the better.”
Minnie’s grandmother, Bridgette Sullivan, 46, whom they live with, added:
“I suppose Jasmine does spoil Minnie-Beau by buying expensive dresses and pretty little bows, but isn’t that what mums are supposed to do? She kind of hides the spending on Minnie’s dresses away from me but it’s her money isn’t it? I don’t help Jasmine financially, she’s very independent and she buys all Minnie-Beau’s dresses and matching accessories herself. She’s an amazing mummy.”

Amazing mum indeed. Too much of everything is bad
Her business o people should leave her alone
Her life
At least she spends her money on her daughter not drugs
wat ever suits her…
Please where is she getting the money from?
That’s uncalled for.
their business… me am investing mine for my own girl not lavishing it for fashion
oh well. its her money so she should do what she likes
Just imagine how it would be if she invested all that money in something valuable like a college fund for the child. She is teaching the Lil gal to focus more on the outward appearance than her mind and personality
