FAMILY RECIPE: Noodles & Veggies Stir Fry
By F.C.
Here’s another yummy recipe to bring to the table this weekend.
You’ll need
3 big boneless chicken breast (cut into bite sizes)
400 g vegetable mix of choice
3 garlic cloves – minced
21/2 tbsp oyster sauce
31/2 tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp mirin or 1 tsp honey( optional)
2 tbsp all purpose seasoning
4 tbsp oil
250 g noodles (cooked)
1 large onion (sliced)
2-3 dl water
Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix seasoning and chicken together and let it sit for 10 minutes. Pour oil into a deep frying pan and allow to heat up on a high heat. Fry chicken in hot oil until fully cooked and brown. Stir in garlic and onion. Let it cook for a minute. Add your vegetables and keep stiring as it cooks for another 3minutes.
Add the soya, mirin and oyster sauce. Stir and add some water. Adjust seasoning to taste and stir in the noodles. Reduce heat to low. Mix everything together and let it cook for another minute. Enjoy!

Looking so yummy.
its appetizing ,i will try it,but this mirin and oyster is wat i dont understand
You will get oyster sauce anywhere they sell soya sauce. It has the same colour as soya but it is very thick. It is very common. Mirin is just a japanese sauce. It’s a little sweet but you can use a little honey or sugar instead of that one or better still you can omit that entirely and still get a good taste. These does not make the food sweet but it does gives it a special asian taste.
Oyster sause is in a bottle like soy sauce but it has a sweet taste. You can use soy sauce if you dnt have access to oyster sauce.
