SKINCARE: Natural Beauty Tips Every Mum Should Apply

1. You must have heard that frowning brings about wrinkles – it sure does, so keep a smile on your face. In addition, try sleeping on your back to prevent wrinkles and breakouts on your face and cleavage areas.
2. To get rid of dark circles under your eyes, try sleeping on two or three pillows at a time.
3. Homemade mask works wonders on your face. If you have a normal skin, honey is your best pal. Just damp your face with a cloth dipped in warm water. This helps to open up the pores on your face. Then smear on honey and leave for 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and then with cold water to close the pores. You can do this once in a week.
For an oily skin, honey will still work for you only that you will need to mix it with egg white. Mix a tablespoon of honey with 1 egg white and apply thickly on the face and neck. Leave for 10 minutes and rinse off.
Alternatively, you can also make do with fresh fruit juice. Use any of orange, lime, watermelon or paw-paw juice, apply on the face as a mask and rinse off after about 20 minutes. This cleanses the skin, closes pores and stimulates blood circulation.

For a dry skin, honey will also come in handy if mixed with 15 drops of orange juice and 1 table spoon of rose water. Apply on the face and wash off after 20 minutes.
Alternatively, you can use 1 table spoon of olive oil, mixed with avocado paste. Rub on the face and leave for 10 minutes, then wash off with warm water.
Always remember to splash cold water on your face after washing with warm water to close pores.
4. For a smother skin, fill up your bath with water, add a cup of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and ¼ cup of milk. You can add sweet scented leaves or flowers such as queen of the night for aroma (optional). Soak yourself into it for about 15 minutes, and then rinse off with a mild soap. Do like 2 or 3 times in a week and watch your skin become silky soft sooner than you ever thought.
