“They didn’t want to be seen as victims but as conquerors” – Tiwa Savage Shares Inspiring Post About Girls Rescued From Child Trafficking

Mavin star, Tiwa Savage, recently visited the House Group, in Johannesburg, South Africa, a shelter for young girls rescued from child trafficking. She also met with South Africa’s Honorable Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba, who had a quick briefing with the team before they visited the shelter.

The mum of one shared photos from the visit via her Instagram page today along with an inspiring post where she mentioned that the children wanted to be seen as “conquerors” and not “victims”.

She wrote:

Even though I was supposed to give these beautiful young ladies words of encouragement, I ended up being more inspired by them. They said they didn’t want to be seen as victims but as conquerors because the fact that they are still alive proves that God is not done with them yet. This was such a powerful moment to witness
