Basketmouth And Family Reportedly Robbed In Their Lekki Home

Few weeks after Basketmouth’s wife, Elsie announced on Instagram that he got her a mansion (read here), popular Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth and his family were reportedly robbed at gunpoint in his home in Lekki between the hours of 2 am-4 am.

According to one of his colleagues, Bovi, who broke the sad news on his Instagram page, the father of two and his family were robbed in the early hours of the morning today and the robbers carted away with valuables. He wrote..

“Basketmouth was robbed this morning in his home in Lekki phase 1 between the hours of 2am and 4am, 7th of September 2016. He and his family were held at gun point while the sad episode lasted. Nobody was hurt.

”Valuables were taken including the CCTV device. A report has been made at the police station. He can’t be reached at the moment but will be back on as soon as possible.”

Recently, his wife, Elsie Okpocha announced on IG that he got her a house. The ecstatic wife took to her page to post a picture of the house with the caption:

“You’ll know God is awesome when you get a gift like this during this recession…thank you baby. #myTestimony #GodisGood.”
