TV Presenter Learns About Husband’s Death While Reading Breaking News LIVE on National TV | See How She Reacted
A Tv presenter, Supreet Kaur, who reads the news for India’s IBC24, learnt about her husband’s death while delivering a breaking news report.
A reporter on the phone gave details about the crash and the victims. Although he didn’t identify the victims by name the reporter said three of five people in the car were dead.
As a reporter on the phone gave details about the tragic auto crash, Kaur knew her husband, Harsad Kawade was involved. Her husband was travelling in the same type of car – a Renault Duster – on the same road at the same time with four of his friends.
Credible news sources report that Kaur kept on reading the news for another 10 minutes bravely waiting until she finished reading the news, and the cameras went off, before breaking down.
“It speaks volumes about her sense of duty and professionalism that she continued and kept calm for another 10 minutes. She is an extremely brave lady. We are proud of her as an anchor, but what happened today has left us in shock,” her boss told the Hindustan Times.
Kaur, who has worked with the station for 9 years, got married to Harsad a year ago. Reports also reveal that the editor said the staffers had come to know that her husband was dead while she was reading the news, but did not have the courage to inform her.
She’s truly brave and very professional. May her husband’s soul RIP. Amen.
Jeezzzz…….the worst thing ever.
